I Judged You

This is a letter/apology to Sigmund Freud. I am thinking about the circumstances that surrounded his death, from cancer, after fleeing the Nazis in 1938. While he did not heed the warnings and stayed in Vienna much longer than many Jewish intellectuals of his time, he was able to escape at the last minute by pulling in some favors from those who admired his work. His sisters were not as lucky. I was initially furious at Freud for being so naïve and arrogant.
